She procures her food in the summer, stores up her provisions in the harvest.

A son who gathers in summer is a credit; a son who slumbers during harvest, a disgrace.

And there will be ample goat’s milk for your food, food for your house, sustenance for your maidens.

Ants—a species not strong, yet they store up their food in the summer;

How long, O sluggard, will you lie there? when will you rise from your sleep?

thus accumulating as treasure a good foundation for the future, so as to win the life that is true life.
