The babble of some people is like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise is healing.

Pleasing words are a honeycomb, sweet to the taste and invigorating to the bones.

So will they be life to your soul, and an adornment for your neck.

This will mean health for your flesh and vigor for your bones.

Hear, my son, and receive my words, and the years of your life shall be many.

He taught me and said to me: “Let your heart hold fast my words: keep my commands, and live!

For whoever finds me finds life, and wins favor from the Lord;

Look! I am bringing the city recovery and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them an abundance of lasting peace.
