When the Lord saw how great the wickedness of human beings was on earth, and how every desire that their heart conceived was always nothing but evil,

The One who fashioned together their hearts is the One who knows all their works.

Those who tend a fig tree eat its fruit; so those attentive to their master will be honored.

Sheol and Abaddon can never be satisfied; so the eyes of mortals can never be satisfied.

From within people, from their hearts, come evil thoughts, unchastity, theft, murder,
