The way of fools is right in their own eyes, but those who listen to advice are the wise.

Do you see those skilled at their work? They will stand in the presence of kings, but not in the presence of the obscure.

For you say, ‘I am rich and affluent and have no need of anything,’ and yet do not realize that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.
