For the upright will dwell in the land, people of integrity will remain in it;
In the land of Uz there was a blameless and upright man named Job, who feared God and avoided evil.
Thus the Lord blessed the later days of Job more than his earlier ones. Now he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she-donkeys.
But the poor will inherit the earth, will delight in great prosperity.
The Lord knows the days of the blameless; their heritage lasts forever.
For those blessed by the Lord will inherit the earth, but those accursed will be cut off.
The righteous will inherit the earth and dwell in it forever.
Trust in the Lord and do good that you may dwell in the land and live secure.
Those who do evil will be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord will inherit the earth.
Better one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere. Better the threshold of the house of my God than a home in the tents of the wicked.
The just will never be disturbed, but the wicked will not abide in the land.
Those who mislead the upright into an evil way will themselves fall into their own pit, but the blameless will attain prosperity.
