How much less so is the abominable and corrupt: people who drink in iniquity like water!

“How long, you naive ones, will you love naivete,

Crime is the entertainment of the fool; but wisdom is for the person of understanding.

The crooked in heart are an abomination to the Lord, but those who walk blamelessly are his delight.

A good person wins favor from the Lord, but the schemer he condemns.

Good sense brings favor, but the way of the faithless is their ruin.

Those who scoff, he scoffs at, but the lowly he favors.
