For the breed of the impious shall be sterile, and fire shall consume the tents of extortioners.

So is it then with the dwelling of the impious; such is the place of the one who does not know God!

For you say, “Where is the house of the great, and where the dwelling place of the wicked?”

He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand; he shall cling to it, but it shall not endure.

Those who hate you shall be clothed with shame, and the tent of the wicked shall be no more.

Should you be blameless and upright, surely now he will rouse himself for you and restore your rightful home.

Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your home, Your children like young olive plants around your table.

Wait a little, and the wicked will be no more; look for them and they will not be there.

Those who trust in their riches will fall, but like green leaves the just will flourish.

Overthrow the wicked and they are no more, but the house of the just stands firm.

The Lord pulls down the house of the proud, but preserves intact the widow’s landmark.

The Righteous One appraises the house of the wicked, bringing down the wicked to ruin.

Precious treasure and oil are in the house of the wise, but the fool consumes them.

The curse of the Lord is on the house of the wicked, but the dwelling of the just he blesses;

I will send it forth—oracle of the Lord of hosts—so that it will come to the house of the thief, and into the house of the one who swears falsely by my name. It shall lodge within each house, consuming it, timber and stones.” Sixth Vision: The Basket of Wickedness.
