“You are the Lord, you alone; You made the heavens, the highest heavens and all their host, The earth and all that is upon it, the seas and all that is in them. To all of them you give life, the heavenly hosts bow down before you.

In the beginning, when God created the heavens and the earth—

Then God said: Let the water under the sky be gathered into a single basin, so that the dry land may appear. And so it happened: the water under the sky was gathered into its basin, and the dry land appeared.

Thus the heavens and the earth and all their array were completed.

Meanwhile Jacob continued on his own way, and God’s angels encountered him.

Micaiah continued: “Therefore hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord seated on his throne, with the whole host of heaven standing to his right and to his left.

“Is God indeed to dwell on earth? If the heavens and the highest heavens cannot contain you, how much less this house which I have built!

Hezekiah prayed in the Lord’s presence: “Lord, God of Israel, enthroned on the cherubim! You alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. It is you who made the heavens and the earth.

Therefore, Lord, our God, save us from this man’s power, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you alone, Lord, are God.”

The Levites Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah said, “Arise, bless the Lord, your God, from eternity to eternity!” “And may they bless your glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise.”

I plead, O my God, do not take me in the midst of my days. Your years last through all generations.

Bless the Lord, all you his hosts, his ministers who carry out his will.

May you be blessed by the Lord, maker of heaven and earth.

Our help is in the name of the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.

The maker of heaven and earth, the seas and all that is in them, Who keeps faith forever,

Who is this king of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the king of glory. Selah

By the Lord’s word the heavens were made; by the breath of his mouth all their host.

Lord, your mercy reaches to heaven; your fidelity, to the clouds.

For you are great and do wondrous deeds; and you alone are God.

“Lord of hosts, God of Israel, enthroned on the cherubim! You alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. It is you who made the heavens and the earth.

Therefore, Lord, our God, save us from this man’s power, That all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you alone, Lord, are God.”

You are my witnesses—oracle of the Lord— my servant whom I have chosen To know and believe in me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, and after me there shall be none.

Thus says the Lord, Israel’s king, its redeemer, the Lord of hosts: I am the first, I am the last; there is no God but me.

Do not fear or be troubled. Did I not announce it to you long ago? I declared it, and you are my witnesses. Is there any God but me? There is no other Rock, I know of none!

It was I who made the earth and created the people upon it; It was my hands that stretched out the heavens; I gave the order to all their host.

Ah, my Lord God! You made the heavens and the earth with your great power and your outstretched arm; nothing is too difficult for you.

Then I gave them my statutes and made known to them my ordinances, so that everyone who keeps them has life through them.

“I am a Hebrew,” he replied; “I fear the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.”

The Father and I are one.”

And when they heard it, they raised their voices to God with one accord and said, “Sovereign Lord, maker of heaven and earth and the sea and all that is in them,

Look, the heavens, even the highest heavens, belong to the Lord, your God, as well as the earth and everything on it.

See now that I, I alone, am he, and there is no god besides me. It is I who bring both death and life, I who inflict wounds and heal them, and from my hand no one can deliver.

Hear, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone!

who is the refulgence of his glory, the very imprint of his being, and who sustains all things by his mighty word. When he had accomplished purification from sins, he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

And again, when he leads the first-born into the world, he says: “Let all the angels of God worship him.”

He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, for his time has come to sit in judgment. Worship him who made heaven and earth and sea and springs of water.”

“Worthy are you, Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things; because of your will they came to be and were created.”
