Their kindred of various families were nine hundred and fifty-six. All those named were heads of their ancestral houses.

These were the Benjaminites: Sallu, son of Meshullam, son of Joed, son of Pedaiah, son of Kolaiah, son of Maaseiah, son of Ithiel, son of Jeshaiah,

Joel, son of Zichri, was their commander, and Judah, son of Hassenuah, was second in command of the city.
