“I cannot do anything on my own; I judge as I hear, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will but the will of the one who sent me. Witnesses to Jesus.

Far be it from you to do such a thing, to kill the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked are treated alike! Far be it from you! Should not the judge of all the world do what is just?”

before the Lord who comes, who comes to govern the earth, To govern the world with justice and the peoples with faithfulness.

A spirit of judgment for the one who sits in judgment, And strength for those who turn back the battle at the gate.

The Lord has removed the judgment against you, he has turned away your enemies; The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst, you have no further misfortune to fear.

Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword into its scabbard. Shall I not drink the cup that the Father gave me?”

Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of the one who sent me and to finish his work.

Jesus answered and said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, a son cannot do anything on his own, but only what he sees his father doing; for what he does, his son will do also.

because I came down from heaven not to do my own will but the will of the one who sent me.

So Jesus said [to them], “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will realize that I AM, and that I do nothing on my own, but I say only what the Father taught me.

Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and am here; I did not come on my own, but he sent me.

I do not seek my own glory; there is one who seeks it and he is the one who judges.

For Christ did not please himself; but, as it is written, “The insults of those who insult you fall upon me.”

We know that the judgment of God on those who do such things is true.

By your stubbornness and impenitent heart, you are storing up wrath for yourself for the day of wrath and revelation of the just judgment of God,
