Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up.”

Just as Jonah was in the belly of the whale three days and three nights, so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights.

From that time on, Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer greatly from the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed and on the third day be raised.

and saying, “You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save yourself, if you are the Son of God, [and] come down from the cross!”

and said, “Sir, we remember that this impostor while still alive said, ‘After three days I will be raised up.’

“We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple made with hands and within three days I will build another not made with hands.’”

Those passing by reviled him, shaking their heads and saying, “Aha! You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days,

He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer greatly and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed, and rise after three days.

Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live,

Jesus answered and said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, a son cannot do anything on his own, but only what he sees his father doing; for what he does, his son will do also.

But God raised him up, releasing him from the throes of death, because it was impossible for him to be held by it.

God raised this Jesus; of this we are all witnesses.

The author of life you put to death, but God raised him from the dead; of this we are witnesses.

For you first, God raised up his servant and sent him to bless you by turning each of you from your evil ways.”

For we have heard him claim that this Jesus the Nazorean will destroy this place and change the customs that Moses handed down to us.”

it was also for us, to whom it will be credited, who believe in the one who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,

We were indeed buried with him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might live in newness of life.

If the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the one who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also, through his Spirit that dwells in you.

But if Christ is preached as raised from the dead, how can some among you say there is no resurrection of the dead?

You were buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead.

For Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the sake of the unrighteous, that he might lead you to God. Put to death in the flesh, he was brought to life in the spirit.
