So Jesus no longer walked about in public among the Jews, but he left for the region near the desert, to a town called Ephraim, and there he remained with his disciples. The Last Passover.

Two years went by. It was sheep-shearing time for Absalom in Baal-hazor near Ephraim, and Absalom invited all the king’s sons.

Still, no one spoke openly about him because they were afraid of the Jews. The First Dialogue.

No one works in secret if he wants to be known publicly. If you do these things, manifest yourself to the world.”
