Come down from glory, sit on the parched ground, enthroned daughter Dibon; Moab’s destroyer has fallen upon you, has shattered your strongholds.

Therefore my people go into exile for lack of understanding, Its nobles starving, its masses parched with thirst.

Being very thirsty, he cried to the Lord and said, “You have put this great victory into the hand of your servant. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”
