The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah in Tahpanhes:

Thus says the Lord: See! I will hand over Pharaoh Hophra, king of Egypt, to his enemies, to those seeking his life, just as I handed over Zedekiah, king of Judah, to his enemy Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, to the one seeking his life.

You, son of man, take a clay tablet; place it in front of you, and draw on it a city, Jerusalem.

I the Lord have been your God, since the land of Egypt; I will again have you live in tents, as on feast days.

Draw water for the siege, strengthen your fortresses; Go down into the mud and tread the clay, take hold of the brick mold!

He came up to us, took Paul’s belt, bound his own feet and hands with it, and said, “Thus says the holy Spirit: This is the way the Jews will bind the owner of this belt in Jerusalem, and they will hand him over to the Gentiles.”

A mighty angel picked up a stone like a huge millstone and threw it into the sea and said: “With such force will Babylon the great city be thrown down, and will never be found again.
