Jeremiah 26:15

But you should certainly know that by putting me to death, you bring innocent blood on yourselves, on this city and its inhabitants. For in truth it was the Lord who sent me to you, to speak all these words for you to hear.”

Jeremiah said to the princes and all the people: “It was the Lord who sent me to prophesy against this house and city everything you have heard.

This word came to Jeremiah from the Lord:

if you no longer oppress the alien, the orphan, and the widow; if you no longer shed innocent blood in this place or follow after other gods to your own harm,

You will not pollute the land where you live. For bloodshed pollutes the land, and the land can have no expiation for the blood shed on it except through the blood of the one who shed it.

Then Judas, his betrayer, said in reply, “Surely it is not I, Rabbi?” He answered, “You have said so.” The Lord’s Supper.

and they consulted together to arrest Jesus by treachery and put him to death.

Then he fell to his knees and cried out in a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them”; and when he said this, he fell asleep.

Thus, in the land which the Lord, your God, is giving you as a heritage, innocent blood will not be shed and you will not become guilty of bloodshed.

For they have shed the blood of the holy ones and the prophets, and you [have] given them blood to drink; it is what they deserve.”
