In the year King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a high and lofty throne, with the train of his garment filling the temple.

Micaiah continued: “Therefore hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord seated on his throne, with the whole host of heaven standing to his right and to his left.

Who is like the Lord our God, enthroned on high,

The vision which Isaiah, son of Amoz, saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

And you will say on that day: give thanks to the Lord, acclaim his name; Among the nations make known his deeds, proclaim how exalted is his name.

For thus says the high and lofty One, the One who dwells forever, whose name is holy: I dwell in a high and holy place, but also with the contrite and lowly of spirit, To revive the spirit of the lowly, to revive the heart of the crushed.

Thus says the Lord: The heavens are my throne, the earth, my footstool. What house can you build for me? Where is the place of my rest?

In the thirtieth year, on the fifth day of the fourth month, while I was among the exiles by the river Chebar, the heavens opened, and I saw divine visions.—

Then I looked and there above the firmament over the heads of the cherubim was something like a sapphire, something that looked like a throne.

The glory of the Lord had moved off the cherubim to the threshold of the temple; the temple was filled with the cloud, the whole court brilliant with the glory of the Lord.

How can my lord’s servant speak with you, my lord? For now no strength or even breath is left in me.”

As I watched, Thrones were set up and the Ancient of Days took his throne. His clothing was white as snow, the hair on his head like pure wool; His throne was flames of fire, with wheels of burning fire.

Then the temple became so filled with the smoke from God’s glory and might that no one could enter it until the seven plagues of the seven angels had been accomplished.

Next I saw a large white throne and the one who was sitting on it. The earth and the sky fled from his presence and there was no place for them.

I will give the victor the right to sit with me on my throne, as I myself first won the victory and sit with my Father on his throne.

the twenty-four elders fall down before the one who sits on the throne and worship him, who lives forever and ever. They throw down their crowns before the throne, exclaiming:

At once I was caught up in spirit. A throne was there in heaven, and on the throne sat

one whose appearance sparkled like jasper and carnelian. Around the throne was a halo as brilliant as an emerald.

Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to the one who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever,

I saw a scroll in the right hand of the one who sat on the throne. It had writing on both sides and was sealed with seven seals.

He came and received the scroll from the right hand of the one who sat on the throne.

They cried out to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb,
