No longer will there be a thorn that tears or a brier that scratches for the house of Israel From the surrounding neighbors who despise them; thus they shall know that I am the Lord.

Thus says the Lord of hosts: I am intensely jealous for Zion, stirred to jealous wrath for her.

I will bring them back to dwell within Jerusalem. They will be my people, and I will be their God, in faithfulness and justice.

in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and utter want, you will serve the enemies whom the Lord will send against you. He will put an iron yoke on your neck, until he destroys you. Invasion and Siege.
