The Lord has sworn and will not waver: “You are a priest forever in the manner of Melchizedek.”

Banqueting on wine with harp and lyre, timbrel and flute, But the deed of the Lord they do not regard, the work of his hands they do not see!

Now, son of man, during the day while they watch, pack a bag for exile, and again while they watch, go into exile from your place to another place; perhaps they will see that they are a rebellious house.

since they turned away from all the sins they committed, they shall live; they shall not die.

Now thus says the Lord of hosts: Reflect on your experience!

Now reflect, from this day forward—before you set stone to stone in the temple of the Lord,

Now this is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.

[Jesus] said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”

Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and see my hands, and bring your hand and put it into my side, and do not be unbelieving, but believe.”

During those days Peter stood up in the midst of the brothers (there was a group of about one hundred and twenty persons in the one place). He said,

But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, were grafted in their place and have come to share in the rich root of the olive tree,

they decided to do it, and in fact they are indebted to them, for if the Gentiles have come to share in their spiritual blessings, they ought also to serve them in material blessings.

For I say that Christ became a minister of the circumcised to show God’s truthfulness, to confirm the promises to the patriarchs,

namely, us whom he has called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles. Witness of the Prophets.

to the church of God that is in Corinth, to you who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be holy, with all those everywhere who call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours.

Because the loaf of bread is one, we, though many, are one body, for we all partake of the one loaf.

All this I do for the sake of the gospel, so that I too may have a share in it.

Our hope for you is firm, for we know that as you share in the sufferings, you also share in the encouragement.

Through the evidence of this service, you are glorifying God for your obedient confession of the gospel of Christ and the generosity of your contribution to them and to all others,

that the Gentiles are coheirs, members of the same body, and copartners in the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

I, then, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to live in a manner worthy of the call you have received,

one body and one Spirit, as you were also called to the one hope of your call;

I continue my pursuit toward the goal, the prize of God’s upward calling, in Christ Jesus.

giving thanks to the Father, who has made you fit to share in the inheritance of the holy ones in light.

he has now reconciled in his fleshly body through his death, to present you holy, without blemish, and irreproachable before him,

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience,

exhorting and encouraging you and insisting that you conduct yourselves as worthy of the God who calls you into his kingdom and glory. Further Thanksgiving.

I adjure you by the Lord that this letter be read to all the brothers.

To this end, we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and powerfully bring to fulfillment every good purpose and every effort of faith,

To this end he has [also] called you through our gospel to possess the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Compete well for the faith. Lay hold of eternal life, to which you were called when you made the noble confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Those whose masters are believers must not take advantage of them because they are brothers but must give better service because those who will profit from their work are believers and are beloved. Teach and urge these things.

He saved us and called us to a holy life, not according to our works but according to his own design and the grace bestowed on us in Christ Jesus before time began,

Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything.

Therefore, brothers, since through the blood of Jesus we have confidence of entrance into the sanctuary

and since we have “a great priest over the house of God,”

Let us hold unwaveringly to our confession that gives us hope, for he who made the promise is trustworthy.

Brothers, I ask you to bear with this message of encouragement, for I have written to you rather briefly.

He who consecrates and those who are being consecrated all have one origin. Therefore, he is not ashamed to call them “brothers,”

therefore, he had to become like his brothers in every way, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest before God to expiate the sins of the people.

Take care, brothers, that none of you may have an evil and unfaithful heart, so as to forsake the living God.

We have become partners of Christ if only we hold the beginning of the reality firm until the end,

where Jesus has entered on our behalf as forerunner, becoming high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

It was fitting that we should have such a high priest: holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, higher than the heavens.

For the law appoints men subject to weakness to be high priests, but the word of the oath, which was taken after the law, appoints a son, who has been made perfect forever.

But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that have come to be, passing through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made by hands, that is, not belonging to this creation,

For this reason he is mediator of a new covenant: since a death has taken place for deliverance from transgressions under the first covenant, those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance.

But you are “a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may announce the praises” of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

For this is also how the holy women who hoped in God once used to adorn themselves and were subordinate to their husbands;

So I exhort the presbyters among you, as a fellow presbyter and witness to the sufferings of Christ and one who has a share in the glory to be revealed.

The God of all grace who called you to his eternal glory through Christ [Jesus] will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you after you have suffered a little.

what we have seen and heard we proclaim now to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; for our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

Jude, a slave of Jesus Christ and brother of James, to those who are called, beloved in God the Father and kept safe for Jesus Christ:

They will fight with the Lamb, but the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and king of kings, and those with him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

Rejoice over her, heaven, you holy ones, apostles, and prophets. For God has judged your case against her.”
