Our God is a God who saves; escape from death is the Lord God’s.

For if you refuse to let my people go, tomorrow I will bring locusts into your territory.

I said to you: Let my son go, that he may serve me. Since you refused to let him go, I will kill your son, your firstborn.

Afterwards, Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said, “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Let my people go, that they may hold a feast for me in the wilderness.”

So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt.

Then the Lord spoke to Moses: Early tomorrow morning present yourself to Pharaoh and say to him: Thus says the Lord, the God of the Hebrews: Let my people go to serve me,

the hand of the Lord will strike your livestock in the field—your horses, donkeys, camels, herds and flocks—with a very severe pestilence.

But if you refuse and resist, you shall be eaten by the sword: for the mouth of the Lord has spoken!

but wrath and fury to those who selfishly disobey the truth and obey wickedness.

People were burned by the scorching heat and blasphemed the name of God who had power over these plagues, but they did not repent or give him glory.
