Adorn yourself with grandeur and majesty, and clothe yourself with glory and splendor.

I will clothe its priests with salvation; its devout shall shout for joy.

Your priests will be clothed with justice; your devout will shout for joy.”

For the Lord takes delight in his people, honors the poor with victory.

Splendor and power go before him; power and grandeur are in his holy place.

Likewise, for the glorious adornment of Aaron’s sons you shall have tunics and sashes and skullcaps made, for glorious splendor.

Such things are due to Aaron and his sons from the Israelites by a perpetual statute as a contribution. From their communion offerings, too, the Israelites shall make a contribution, their contribution to the Lord.

the service cloths, the sacred vestments for Aaron the priest, the vestments for his sons in their ministry,

Clothe Aaron with the sacred vestments and anoint him, thus consecrating him as my priest.

On that day, The branch of the Lord will be beauty and glory, and the fruit of the land will be honor and splendor for the survivors of Israel.

but we do see Jesus “crowned with glory and honor” because he suffered death, he who “for a little while” was made “lower than the angels,” that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.

It was fitting that we should have such a high priest: holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, higher than the heavens.

For he received honor and glory from God the Father when that unique declaration came to him from the majestic glory, “This is my Son, my beloved, with whom I am well pleased.”

Beloved, we are God’s children now; what we shall be has not yet been revealed. We do know that when it is revealed we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

You made them a kingdom and priests for our God, and they will reign on earth.”
