But among all the Israelites, among human beings and animals alike, not even a dog will growl, so that you may know that the Lord distinguishes between Egypt and Israel.

Thus the needy have hope, and iniquity closes its mouth.

God is a just judge, powerful and patient, not exercising anger every day.

Who confers distinction upon you? What do you possess that you have not received? But if you have received it, why are you boasting as if you did not receive it?

all the army returned to Joshua and the camp at Makkedah in victory; no one uttered a sound against the Israelites.
