Joseph remained in Egypt, together with his father’s household. He lived a hundred and ten years.

Therefore God dealt well with the midwives; and the people multiplied and grew very numerous.

Then Joseph sent for his father Jacob, inviting him and his whole clan, seventy-five persons;

Seventy strong your ancestors went down to Egypt, and now the Lord, your God, has made you as numerous as the stars of heaven.
