Of Judah he said this: Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah, and bring him to his people. His own hands defend his cause; be a help against his foes.

There followed a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David, in which David grew ever stronger, but the house of Saul ever weaker. Sons Born in Hebron.

All the tribes of Israel came to David in Hebron, and they said: “Look! We are your bone and your flesh.

David inquired of the Lord, “Shall I attack the Philistines, and will you deliver them into my power?” The Lord answered David: Attack, for I will surely deliver the Philistines into your power.

God chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion which he loved.

It is clear that our Lord arose from Judah, and in regard to that tribe Moses said nothing about priests.
