When you make a loan of any kind to your neighbor, you shall not enter the neighbor’s house to receive the pledge,
You keep your relatives’ goods in pledge unjustly, leave them stripped naked of their clothing.
for this is his only covering; it is the cloak for his body. What will he sleep in? If he cries out to me, I will listen; for I am compassionate.
You shall not despise God, nor curse a leader of your people.
Instead, you shall freely open your hand and generously lend what suffices to meet that need.
but shall wait outside until the person to whom you are making the loan brings the pledge outside to you.
