but shall weigh him down with gifts from your flock and threshing floor and wine press; as the Lord, your God, has blessed you, so you shall give to him.

He continued: “Go, eat rich foods and drink sweet drinks, and allot portions to those who had nothing prepared; for today is holy to our Lord. Do not be saddened this day, for rejoicing in the Lord is your strength!”

Lavishly he gives to the poor; his righteousness shall endure forever; his horn shall be exalted in honor.

You poured abundant rains, God, your inheritance was weak and you repaired it.

It is the Lord’s blessing that brings wealth, and no effort can substitute for it.
