A psalm of David. The Lord says to my lord: “Sit at my right hand, while I make your enemies your footstool.”

You will show me the path to life, abounding joy in your presence, the delights at your right hand forever.

The path of life leads upward for the prudent, turning them from Sheol below.

The wise heart turns to the right; the foolish heart to the left.

‘The Lord said to my lord, “Sit at my right hand until I place your enemies under your feet”’?

So then the Lord Jesus, after he spoke to them, was taken up into heaven and took his seat at the right hand of God.

Sell your belongings and give alms. Provide money bags for yourselves that do not wear out, an inexhaustible treasure in heaven that no thief can reach nor moth destroy.

For David himself in the Book of Psalms says: ‘The Lord said to my lord, “Sit at my right hand

who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers subject to him.
