Samaria has become guilty, for she has rebelled against her God. They shall fall by the sword, their infants shall be dashed to pieces, their pregnant women shall be ripped open.

Thus says the Lord: For three crimes of Damascus, and now four— I will not take it back— Because they threshed Gilead with sledges of iron,

As you come opposite the Ammonites, do not show hostility or come in conflict with them, for I will not give you possession of any land of the Ammonites, since I have given it to the descendants of Lot as their possession.
