When Solomon had ended his prayer, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offerings and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the house.

When the sun had set and it was dark, there appeared a smoking fire pot and a flaming torch, which passed between those pieces.

Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will please the Lord, as in ancient days, as in years gone by.

As they prayed, the place where they were gathered shook, and they were all filled with the holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness. Life in the Christian Community.

The city had no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gave it light, and its lamp was the Lamb.

the messenger of the Lord stretched out the tip of the staff he held. When he touched the meat and unleavened cakes, a fire came up from the rock and consumed the meat and unleavened cakes. Then the messenger of the Lord disappeared from sight.
