Rather, the law of the Lord is his joy; and on his law he meditates day and night.

May my meditation be pleasing to him; I will rejoice in the Lord.

Recall the wondrous deeds he has done, his wonders and words of judgment,

My eyes greet the night watches as I meditate on your promise.

Though princes meet and talk against me, your servant meditates on your statutes.

Do not let this book of the law depart from your lips. Recite it by day and by night, that you may carefully observe all that is written in it; then you will attain your goal; then you will succeed.
