Three times a year Solomon used to offer burnt offerings and communion offerings on the altar which he had built to the Lord, and to burn incense before the Lord. Thus he completed the temple. Solomon’s Gifts.

When Solomon finished building the house,

and it was finished, in all particulars, exactly according to plan, in the month of Bul, the eighth month, in the eleventh year. Thus Solomon built it in seven years.

When he had finished building the house, it was roofed in with rafters and boards of cedar.

The sons of Amram were Aaron and Moses. Aaron was set apart to be consecrated as most holy, he and his sons forever, to offer sacrifice before the Lord, to minister to him, and to bless in his name forever.

My sons, do not be negligent any longer, for it is you whom the Lord has chosen to stand before him, to minister to him, to be his ministers and to offer incense.”

Because they have abandoned me and have burned incense to other gods, provoking me by all the works of their hands, my anger burns against this place and it cannot be extinguished.

All of Solomon’s work was carried out successfully from the day the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid until its completion. The house of the Lord was finished. Glories of the Court.

On it Aaron shall burn fragrant incense. Morning after morning, when he prepares the lamps,

for Israelite women to go yearly to mourn the daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite for four days of the year.
