He said to them, “What answer do you advise that we should give this people, who have told me, ‘Lighten the yoke your father imposed on us’?”

Because you disdained all my counsel, and my reproof you ignored—

They ignored my counsel, they spurned all my reproof;

Listen to counsel and receive instruction, that you may eventually become wise.
