And if I have the gift of prophecy and comprehend all mysteries and all knowledge; if I have all faith so as to move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing.

He said to them in reply, “Because knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven has been granted to you, but to them it has not been granted.

He said to them, “Because of your little faith. Amen, I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” [

Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went over to it, but found nothing on it except leaves. And he said to it, “May no fruit ever come from you again.” And immediately the fig tree withered.

Jesus said to them in reply, “Amen, I say to you, if you have faith and do not waver, not only will you do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be done.

Now there were in the church at Antioch prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Symeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen who was a close friend of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers, so that you will not become wise [in] your own estimation: a hardening has come upon Israel in part, until the full number of the Gentiles comes in,

I myself am convinced about you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able to admonish one another.

Now to him who can strengthen you, according to my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret for long ages

Any man who prays or prophesies with his head covered brings shame upon his head.

Some people God has designated in the church to be, first, apostles; second, prophets; third, teachers; then, mighty deeds; then, gifts of healing, assistance, administration, and varieties of tongues.

If I speak in human and angelic tongues but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal.

If I give away everything I own, and if I hand my body over so that I may boast but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Love never fails. If there are prophecies, they will be brought to nothing; if tongues, they will cease; if knowledge, it will be brought to nothing.

Two or three prophets should speak, and the others discern.

So, [my] brothers, strive eagerly to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues,

Whoever speaks in a tongue builds himself up, but whoever prophesies builds up the church.

Behold, I tell you a mystery. We shall not all fall asleep, but we will all be changed,

If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed. Marana tha.

Thus should one regard us: as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

Circumcision means nothing, and uncircumcision means nothing; what matters is keeping God’s commandments.

So about the eating of meat sacrificed to idols: we know that “there is no idol in the world,” and that “there is no God but one.”

I have been foolish. You compelled me, for I ought to have been commended by you. For I am in no way inferior to these “superapostles,” even though I am nothing.

I say, then: live by the Spirit and you will certainly not gratify the desire of the flesh.

In contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness,

For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he is deluding himself.

When you read this you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ,

and also for me, that speech may be given me to open my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel

the mystery hidden from ages and from generations past. But now it has been manifested to his holy ones,

Undeniably great is the mystery of devotion, Who was manifested in the flesh, vindicated in the spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed to the Gentiles, believed in throughout the world, taken up in glory.

Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love.
