I resemblea pelicanof the wilderness;I have becomelike an owlof the wasteplaces.
"I will also makeit a possessionfor the hedgehogand swampsof water,and I will sweepit with the broomof destruction,"declaresthe LORDof hosts.
Who says,I will buildmyself a roomyhouseWith spaciousupperrooms,And cutout its windows,Paneling[it] with cedarand painting[it] brightred.'
I sawthe Lordstandingbesidethe altar,and He said,"Smitethe capitalsso that the thresholdswill shake,And breakthem on the headsof them all!Then I will slaythe restof them with the sword;They will not have a fugitivewho will flee,Or a refugeewho will escape.
So the seacoastwill be pastures,[With] cavesfor shepherdsand foldsfor flocks.
