Nowallthistook placeto fulfillwhatwas spokenby the Lordthroughthe prophet:
As He spokeby the mouthof His holyprophetsfrom of old--
"Of Him allthe prophetsbear witnessthat throughHis nameeveryonewho believesin Him receivesforgivenessof sins."
"And we preach to you the good newsof the promisemadeto the fathers,
"And nowI am standingtrialfor the hopeof the promisemadeby Godto our fathers;
but nowis manifested,and by the Scripturesof the prophets,accordingto the commandmentof the eternalGod,has been made knownto allthe nations,[leading] to obedienceof faith;
Greatin everyrespect.First of all,that they were entrustedwith the oraclesof God.
But nowapartfrom the Law[the] righteousnessof Godhas been manifested,being witnessedby the Lawand the Prophets,
