Thenthe fifthangelsounded,and I sawa starfrom heavenwhich had fallento the earth;and the keyof the bottomlesspitwas givento him.
"Howyou have fallenfrom heaven,O starof the morning,sonof the dawn!You have been cutdownto the earth,You who have weakenedthe nations!
And He saidto them, "I was watchingSatanfallfrom heavenlikelightning.
They were imploringHim not to commandthem to go awayinto the abyss.
or'WHOWILL DESCENDINTO THE ABYSS?'(that is, to bringChristup from the dead)."
and the livingOne; and I was dead,and behold,I amaliveforevermore,and I havethe keysof deathand of Hades.

ThenI sawan angelcoming downfrom heaven,holdingthe keyof the abyssand a greatchainin his hand.
And the devilwho deceivedthem was throwninto the lakeof fireand brimstone,wherethe beastand the false prophetare also;and they will be tormenteddayand nightforeverand ever.
and the starsof the skyfellto the earth,as a fig treecastsits unripe figswhen shakenby a greatwind.
The thirdangelsounded,and a greatstarfellfrom heaven,burninglikea torch,and it fellon a thirdof the riversand on the springsof waters.
The fourthangelsounded,and a thirdof the sunand a thirdof the moonand a thirdof the starswere struck,sothat a thirdof them would be darkenedand the daywould not shinefor a thirdof it, and the nightin the same way.
And I sawthe sevenangelswhostandbeforeGod,and seventrumpetswere givento them.
He openedthe bottomlesspit,and smokewentup out of the pit,likethe smokeof a greatfurnace;and the sunand the airwere darkenedby the smokeof the pit.
