and recognizingthe gracethat had been givento me, Jamesand Cephasand John,who were reputedto be pillars,gaveto me and Barnabasthe right handof fellowship,sothat we [might] [go] to the Gentilesand they to the circumcised.
having been builton the foundationof the apostlesand prophets,ChristJesusHimselfbeingthe corner[stone],
whichin othergenerationswas not made knownto the sonsof men,as it has nowbeen revealedto His holyapostlesand prophetsin the Spirit;
And He gavesome[as] apostles,and some[as] prophets,and some[as] evangelists,and some[as] pastorsand teachers,
for he was lookingfor the citywhichhasfoundations,whosearchitectand builderis God.
But you, beloved,ought to rememberthe wordsthat were spoken beforehandby the apostlesof our LordJesusChrist,
"Rejoiceoverher, O heaven,and you saintsand apostlesand prophets,becauseGodhas pronouncedjudgmentfor you againsther."
[There were] threegateson the eastand threegateson the northand threegateson the southand threegateson the west.
