For he will deliverthe needywhen he criesfor help,The afflictedalso, and him who hasnohelper.
For the kingwill hearand deliverhis maidservantfrom the handof the manwho would destroybothme and my sonfrom the inheritanceof God.'
BecauseI deliveredthe poorwho criedfor help,And the orphanwho had nohelper.
"He deliversthe afflictedin their affliction,And openstheir earin [time of] oppression.
O LORD,You have heardthe desireof the humble;You will strengthentheir heart,You will inclineYour ear
He has regardedthe prayerof the destituteAnd has not despisedtheir prayer.
To hearthe groaningof the prisoner,To setfreethosewhowere doomedto death,
Eveningand morningand at noon,I will complainand murmur,And He will hearmy voice.
May he vindicatethe afflictedof the people,Savethe childrenof the needyAnd crushthe oppressor.
The righteousis concernedfor the rightsof the poor,The wickeddoes not understand[such] concern.
Then I lookedagainat allthe actsof oppressionwhichwere being doneunderthe sun.And behold[I saw] the tearsof the oppressedand [that] they hadnooneto comfort[them]; and on the sideof their oppressorswas power,but they hadnooneto comfort[them].
"The afflictedand needyare seekingwater,but thereis none,And their tongueis parchedwith thirst;I, the LORD,will answerthem Myself, [As] the Godof IsraelI will not forsakethem.
"THE SPIRITOF THE LORDIS UPON ME, BECAUSEHE ANOINTEDME TO PREACH THE GOSPELTO THE POOR.HE HAS SENTME TO PROCLAIMRELEASETO THE CAPTIVES,AND RECOVERY OF SIGHTTO THE BLIND,TO SETFREETHOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED,
And He answeredand saidto them, "Goand reportto Johnwhatyou have seenand heard:[the] BLINDRECEIVE SIGHT,[the] lamewalk,[the] lepersare cleansed,and [the] deafhear,[the] deadare raisedup, [the] POORHAVE THE GOSPEL PREACHEDTO THEM.
For you knowthe graceof our LordJesusChrist,that though He was rich,yet for your sakeHe becamepoor,sothat you through His povertymight become rich.
ThereforeHe is ablealsoto saveforeverthosewho draw nearto GodthroughHim, since He alwayslivesto make intercessionfor them.
Everyonewho was in distress,and everyonewhowas in debt,and everyonewho was discontentedgatheredto him; and he becamecaptainoverthem. Now there were about fourhundredmenwith him.
