Godhas lookeddownfrom heavenupon the sonsof menTo seeif thereis anyone who understands,Who seeksafter God.
"As for you, my sonSolomon,knowthe Godof your father,and serveHim with a wholeheartand a willingmind;for the LORDsearchesallhearts,and understandseveryintentof the thoughts.Ifyou seekHim, He will let you findHim; but ifyou forsakeHim, He will rejectyou forever.
and he wentout to meetAsaand saidto him, "Listento me, Asa,and allJudahand Benjamin:the LORDis with you when you are with Him. And ifyou seekHim, He will let you findHim; but ifyou forsakeHim, He will forsakeyou.
"But thereis [some] goodin you, for you have removedthe Asherothfrom the landand you have setyour heartto seekGod."
"And to manHe said,'Behold,the fearof the Lord,that is wisdom;And to departfrom evilis understanding.'"
The wicked,in the haughtinessof his countenance,does not seek[Him]. Allhis thoughtsare, "Thereis noGod."
For He lookeddownfrom His holyheight;From heaventhe LORDgazedupon the earth,
The LORDis in His holytemple;the LORD'Sthroneis in heaven;His eyesbehold,His eyelidstestthe sonsof men.
The fearof the LORDis the beginningof wisdom;A goodunderstandinghave allthose who do[His commandments]; His praiseenduresforever.
[When You said], "SeekMy face,"my heartsaidto You, "Your face,O LORD,I shall seek."
Seekthe LORDwhile He may be found;Callupon Him while He is near.
"For My eyesare on alltheir ways;they are not hiddenfrom My face,noris their iniquityconcealedfrom My eyes.
"Can a manhidehimself in hidingplacesSo I do not seehim?" declaresthe LORD."Do I not fillthe heavensand the earth?"declaresthe LORD.
"So keepand do[them], for that is your wisdomand your understandingin the sightof the peopleswhowill hearallthesestatutesand say,'Surelythisgreatnationis a wiseand understandingpeople.'
