Egyptwas gladwhen they departed,For the dreadof them had fallenupon them.
As they journeyed,there was a greatterrorupon the citieswhichwere aroundthem, and they did not pursuethe sonsof Jacob.
In eachand everyprovinceand in eachand everycity,whereverthe king'scommandmentand his decreearrived,there was gladnessand joyfor the Jews,a feastand a holiday.And manyamongthe peoplesof the landbecameJews,for the dreadof the Jewshad fallenon them.
Pharaoh'sservantssaidto him, "Howlongwill thisman be a snareto us? Letthe mengo,that they may servethe LORDtheir God.Do you not realizethat Egyptis destroyed?"
The Egyptiansurgedthe people,to sendthem out of the landin haste,for they said,"We will allbe dead."
"Terrorand dreadfallupon them; By the greatnessof Your armthey are motionlessas stone;UntilYour peoplepassover,O LORD,Untilthe peoplepassoverwhomYou have purchased.
and saidto the men,"I knowthat the LORDhas givenyou the land,and that the terrorof you has fallenon us, and that allthe inhabitantsof the landhave meltedawaybeforeyou.
