The wordsof a man'smouthare deepwaters;The fountainof wisdomis a bubblingbrook.
I will openmy mouthin a parable;I will utterdarksayingsof old,
The mouthof the righteousis a fountainof life,But the mouthof the wickedconcealsviolence.
The teachingof the wiseis a fountainof life,To turnasidefrom the snaresof death.
Understandingis a fountainof lifeto one whohasit, But the disciplineof foolsis folly.
When a wickedmancomes,contemptalsocomes,And with dishonor[comes] scorn.
A planin the heartof a manis [like] deepwater,But a manof understandingdrawsit out.
"You broodof vipers, howcanyou, beingevil, speakwhat is good? For the mouthspeaksout of that which fillsthe heart.
but whoeverdrinksof the waterthat I will givehim shall neverthirst;but the waterthat I will givehim will becomein him a wellof waterspringingup to eternallife."
Let the wordof Christrichlydwellwithinyou, with allwisdomteachingand admonishingone anotherwith psalms[and] hymns[and] spiritualsongs, singingwith thankfulnessin your heartsto God.
Let your speechalwaysbe with grace,[as though] seasonedwith salt,so that you will knowhowyou shouldrespondto eachperson.
