The Leviteswere numberedfrom thirtyyearsoldand upward,and their numberby censusof menwas 38,000
as well as the priestswho were enrolledgenealogicallyaccording to their fathers'households,and the Levitesfrom twentyyearsoldand upwards,by their duties[and] their divisions.
"But the Levitesshall camparoundthe tabernacleof the testimony,so that there will be nowrathon the congregationof the sonsof Israel.So the Levitesshall keepchargeof the tabernacleof the testimony."

Whoat any timeserves as a soldierat his ownexpense?Whoplantsa vineyardand does not eatthe fruitof it? Orwhotendsa flockand does not usethe milkof the flock?
for the weaponsof our warfareare not of the flesh,but divinelypowerfulfor the destructionof fortresses.
ThiscommandI entrustto you, Timothy,[my] son,in accordancewith the propheciespreviously madeconcerningyou, that by them you fightthe goodfight,
Fightthe goodfightof faith;take holdof the eternallifeto whichyou were called,and you madethe goodconfessionin the presenceof manywitnesses.
