Theseare the statutesand ordinancesand lawswhichthe LORDestablishedbetweenHimself and the sonsof IsraelthroughMosesat MountSinai.
So Mosesnumberedthem accordingto the wordof the LORD,justas he had been commanded.
Of Kohath[was] the familyof the Amramitesand the familyof the Izharitesand the familyof the Hebronitesand the familyof the Uzzielites;thesewere the familiesof the Kohathites.

The numberedmen of the sonsof Gershonby their familiesand by their fathers'households,
from thirtyyearsand upwardeven to fiftyyearsold,everyonewho could enterto dothe workof serviceand the workof carryingin the tentof meeting.
Accordingto the commandmentof the LORDthroughMoses,they were numbered,everyoneby his servingor carrying;thus [these were] his numberedmen, justas the LORDhad commandedMoses.
