"Thisis whatthe LORDhas commandedconcerning the daughtersof Zelophehad,saying,'Let them marrywhom they wish;onlythey must marrywithin the familyof the tribeof their father.'
and I will make you swearby the LORD,the Godof heavenand the Godof earth,that you shall not takea wifefor my sonfrom the daughtersof the Canaanites,amongwhomI live,
Eleazardiedand hadnosons,but daughtersonly,so their brothers,the sonsof Kish,tookthem [as wives].
"The daughtersof Zelophehadare rightin [their] statements.You shall surelygivethem a hereditarypossessionamongtheir father'sbrothers,and you shall transferthe inheritanceof their fatherto them.
They married[those] from the familiesof the sonsof Manassehthe sonof Joseph,and their inheritanceremainedwith the tribeof the familyof their father.
Then Mosescommandedthe sonsof Israelaccordingto the wordof the LORD,saying,"The tribeof the sonsof Josephare rightin [their] statements.
Do not be bound togetherwith unbelievers;for whatpartnershiphave righteousnessand lawlessness,orwhatfellowshiphas lightwith darkness?
