"Takea censusof allthe congregationof the sonsof Israelfrom twentyyearsoldand upward,by their fathers'households,whoeveris able to goout to warin Israel."
Not oneof thesemen,thisevilgeneration,shall seethe goodlandwhichI sworeto giveyour fathers,
shall by nomeansseethe landwhichI sworeto their fathers,norshall anyof those who spurnedMe seeit.
See,I have placedthe landbeforeyou; goin and possessthe landwhichthe LORDsworeto giveto your fathers,to Abraham,to Isaac,and to Jacob,to them and their descendantsafterthem.'
