There was nowaterfor the congregation,and they assembledthemselves againstMosesand Aaron.
They also provoked[Him] to wrathat the watersof Meribah,So that it wenthardwith Moseson their account;
"I have heardthe grumblingsof the sonsof Israel;speakto them, saying,At twilightyou shall eatmeat,and in the morningyou shall be filledwith bread;and you shall knowthat I am the LORDyour God.'"
The wholecongregationof the sonsof IsraelgrumbledagainstMosesand Aaronin the wilderness.
and in the morningyou will seethe gloryof the LORD,for He hearsyour grumblingsagainstthe LORD;and whatare we, that you grumbleagainstus?"
Allthe sonsof IsraelgrumbledagainstMosesand Aaron;and the wholecongregationsaidto them, "Wouldthat we had diedin the landof Egypt!Orwouldthat we had diedin thiswilderness!
"Onlydo not rebelagainst the LORD;and do not fearthe peopleof the land,for they will be our prey.Their protectionhas been removedfrom them, and the LORDis with us; do not fearthem."
Thus Korahassembledallthe congregationagainstthem at the doorwayof the tentof meeting.And the gloryof the LORDappearedto allthe congregation.
They assembledtogether againstMosesand Aaron,and saidto them, "You have gone farenough,for allthe congregationare holy,everyoneof them, and the LORDis in their midst;so whydo you exaltyourselves abovethe assemblyof the LORD?"
It cameabout, however, when the congregationhad assembledagainstMosesand Aaron,that they turnedtowardthe tentof meeting,and behold,the cloudcoveredit and the gloryof the LORDappeared.
The peoplespokeagainst Godand Moses,"Whyhave you broughtus up out of Egyptto diein the wilderness?For thereis nofoodand nowater,and we loathethis miserablefood."
