"Not so,with My servantMoses,He is faithfulin allMy household;
The LORDsaidto Satan,"Have you consideredMy servantJob?For thereis noonelikehim on the earth,a blamelessand uprightman,fearingGodand turningawayfrom evil."
He sentMosesHis servant,[And] Aaron,whomHe had chosen.
Thus the LORDused to speakto Mosesfaceto face,justas a manspeaksto his friend.When Moses returnedto the camp,his servantJoshua,the sonof Nun,a youngman,would not departfrom the tent.
"TrulyI sayto you, amongthose bornof womenthere has not arisen[anyone] greaterthan Johnthe Baptist!Yetthe onewho is leastin the kingdomof heavenis greaterthan he.
"But whatdid you goout to see?A prophet?Yes,I tellyou, and one who is morethan a prophet.
"When Mosessawit, he marveledat the sight;and as he approachedto look [more] closely,there camethe voiceof the Lord:
In this case,moreover,it is requiredof stewardsthat onebe foundtrustworthy.
I will raiseup a prophetfrom amongtheir countrymenlikeyou, and I will putMy wordsin his mouth,and he shall speakto them allthat I commandhim.
So Mosesthe servantof the LORDdiedtherein the landof Moab,accordingto the wordof the LORD.
but in caseI am delayed,[I write] sothat you will knowhowone oughtto conducthimself in the householdof God,whichis the churchof the livingGod,the pillarand supportof the truth.
Now it cameabout afterthe deathof Mosesthe servantof the LORD,that the LORDspoketo Joshuathe sonof Nun,Moses'servant,saying,
"MosesMy servantis dead;nowtherefore arise,crossthisJordan,you and allthispeople,to the landwhichI am givingto them, to the sonsof Israel.
