forsakingthe rightway,they have gone astray,having followedthe wayof Balaam,the [son] of Beor,wholovedthe wagesof unrighteousness;
"But the peopletook[some] of the spoil,sheepand oxen,the choicestof the thingsdevotedto destruction,to sacrificeto the LORDyour Godat Gilgal."
But Sauland the peoplesparedAgagand the bestof the sheep,the oxen,the fatlings,the lambs,and allthat was good,and were not willingto destroythem utterly;but everythingdespisedand worthless,that they utterlydestroyed.
