Do not neglectto show hospitality to strangers,for by thissomehave entertainedangelswithout knowingit.
Rememberthe prisoners,as thoughin prisonwith them, [and] thosewho are ill-treated,sinceyou yourselvesalsoare in the body.
They turnedasidetherein order to enter[and] lodgein Gibeah.When they entered,they satdownin the opensquareof the city,for noonetookthem into [his] houseto spendthe night.
