for they lovedthe approvalof menratherthanthe approvalof God.
"Howcanyou believe,when you receivegloryfrom one anotherand you do not seekthe glorythat is from the [one and] onlyGod?
"He who speaksfrom himselfseekshis ownglory;but He who is seekingthe gloryof the One who sentHim, He is true,and there is nounrighteousnessin Him.

"You shall makeyourself tasselson the fourcornersof your garmentwith whichyou coveryourself.

Some,to be sure,are preachingChristevenfrom envyand strife,but somealsofrom good will;
Do nothingfrom selfishnessorempty conceit,but with humility of mindregardone anotheras more importantthan yourselves;
who opposesand exaltshimself aboveeveryso-calledgodorobject of worship,sothat he takes his seatin the templeof God,displayinghimselfas beingGod.
