And answeringJesus,they said,"We do not know."He alsosaidto them, "Neitherwill I tellyou by whatauthorityI dothese things.
"IfDavidthencallsHim 'Lord,'howis He his son?"
When Jesussawthat he had answeredintelligently,He saidto him, "You are not farfrom the kingdomof God."After that, no onewould ventureto askHim any morequestions.
As He saidthis,allHis opponentswere being humiliated;and the entirecrowdwas rejoicingoverallthe glorious thingsbeing doneby Him.
But they kept silent.And He took holdof him and healedhim, and sent him away.
And they couldmakenoreplyto this.
For they did not have courageto questionHim any longerabout anything.
And seeingthe manwho had been healedstandingwith them, they hadnothingto say in reply.
